Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of MyOda, an interactive learning platform operated by Daticks Technology Limited, Nigeria. Creators build and share learning activities, learners use published interactive exercises, and hosts run Live Play sessions. Contact: myodahq@gmail.com.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Creators must provide accurate account information, keep their credentials secure and tell us about suspected misuse. You must have the legal capacity and any authority needed to accept these terms. Learners do not need accounts to take part in shared exercises or Live Play.

3. Educational content

Creators remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and suitability of their educational materials, and must have the rights or permission to use any text, images, logos or other material they upload. Creators keep ownership of their content and grant Daticks Technology Limited only the limited licence reasonably necessary to host, process and deliver it to the learners they share it with. MyOda is not an accredited educational institution and does not guarantee learning outcomes; practice results are not formal qualifications.

4. Acceptable use

You must not upload or share unlawful, harassing, hateful or infringing content; attempt unauthorised access; misuse or expose learner information; distribute malicious code; or interfere with the platform’s operation.

5. Free plan

The Free plan does not expire. It includes one permanently assigned published exercise with a maximum of five questions — your first eligible published exercise — which cannot be swapped by unpublishing and replacing it. It also includes unlimited drafts (subject to reasonable technical and fair-use limits), basic sharing, learner results and default MyOda branding.

6. Pro plan

Pro currently costs Price unavailable as a one-time purchase providing 90 days of Pro access. There is no automatic renewal or recurring billing. Pro includes multiple saved and published exercises (subject to reasonable fair use), all supported exercise features, creator branding, Live Play hosting and enhanced reporting. Prices and features are shown before purchase and may be changed for future purchases.

7. Renewals and expiry

A successful purchase with no paid period remaining activates 90 days of access. If a paid period remains, another successful purchase extends it by a further 90 days. Failed or abandoned payments do not activate or extend Pro. When paid Pro expires and no other Pro entitlement exists, Pro-only exercise access pauses for learners; saved exercises, branding settings and learner results are preserved, and your permanent Free exercise stays available. Renewing restores eligible Pro features.

8. Complimentary Pro

The platform owner may grant selected creators complimentary Pro access without payment. It has no automatic expiry and remains active until the owner administrator withdraws it. It creates no payment, invoice or paid subscription. Withdrawing it does not cancel any separately valid paid Pro and does not delete exercises, learner results or saved branding.

9. Live Play

Live Play is available to creators with valid Pro access. Participants join with a room code and a display name. Rooms may have reasonable operational limits (currently 30 participants), and uninterrupted sessions are not guaranteed. Temporary room data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Payments, refunds and cancellation

Payments are processed by Paystack; MyOda does not store full card numbers or card security codes, and Pro activates only after server-side payment verification.

MyOda Pro is a one-time purchase providing 90 days of access. It is not a recurring subscription and does not renew automatically.

Once a Pro pass has been successfully activated, purchases are generally non-refundable for a change of mind.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, experienced a payment error, or did not receive the access you paid for, please contact myodahq@gmail.com.

We will review eligible complaints and provide any refunds or other remedies required by applicable law.

Failed or cancelled payments do not activate Pro access.

Pro does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded by this policy. See Refunds and Cancellations.

11. Confidentiality and data protection

We respect the confidentiality of creator and learner information. Private learner results are restricted by access rules to authorised parties according to their roles, such as the creator who shared the exercise. Creators must protect learner information they receive and must not upload information they are not authorised to share. Our use of service providers and security measures is described in the Privacy Policy; no system is completely secure. We may disclose information where legally required.

12. Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend accounts for serious misuse, security risks or material breaches, following appropriate review. You may request deletion of your account and personal information from Account Settings or by emailing myodahq@gmail.com. Requests require identity checks and administrator review; removal of related records and files can require separate handling. Retention and deletion limitations are described in the Privacy Policy. Disabling an exercise does not erase earlier learner submissions. These processes do not limit statutory data protection or consumer rights.

13. Service availability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but availability and features may change and uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Governing law, support and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Email support enquiries, payment or account issues and complaints directly to myodahq@gmail.com so we can try to resolve them. Emails are not automatically saved as new Admin Support tickets. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of the country where you live.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be notified where appropriate before they apply.
